Exchange programs and internships abroad helped me to improve my English and learn medical English.
In 1999/2000 I was an exchange student in Minnesota, USA, and attended High-School.
During
medical school I revisited the US several times for internships in Northfield, Minnesota, and Oxnard, California. Further internships in
Canterbury, UK, and Tirunelveli, India, helped me to improve my medical English and widened my medical horizon.
In
2010 I received the award of a doctorate form the Department of Psychiatry at
the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg.
I continued my work at the department during a five year speciality training for Psychiatry
and Psychotherapy including a one year rotation in Neurology. I regularly perform therapy in English.
